These images were done for a 2nd year uni project for my Photomedia major.
The concept behind the work is about reality within photographs and whether or not what the camera captures can be classified as real. Are the emotions portrayed considered real emotions or are they just representations of real emotions?
This video depicts how I was able to induce the subject's emotions. It was a combination of inflicting physical pain (JUST A LITTLE BIT!) and watching horror/comedy clips.
Disclaimer: The subject was a willing and conscientious participant and was repaid in a load of eternal gratitude. Hehe. Hi, Ming. :)
